Cindy Lona

As one of the Resource Center Associates at Expressions of Hope (EOH), Cindy Lona plays a key role in supporting families by answering calls and providing assistance to those in need.

Having once been a parent within the foster system herself, Cindy brings a unique and personal perspective to her work. She understands firsthand the challenges families face and is grateful for the opportunity to give back and support others navigating similar circumstances.

Cindy holds deep appreciation for EOH, as it was the agency that provided her with the hope and help she needed during difficult times. Now, she’s able to return that kindness by supporting others in their journeys. Her experience is shaped by the life lessons she gained while in the system, and she finds strength in sharing that light with others. Cindy is guided by the empowering belief that "nothing can dim the light which shines within you”.
