Our range of events and meetings are designed to connect, support, and empower foster parents and kinship families through fun, informative, and engaging activities. Here's what's coming up:

COMMUNITY EVENTS FOR RESOURCE FAMILIES

Details: All licensed Resource Families are invited to join the various events and outings we organize throughout the year. These activities are designed to foster community among families and provide kids with experiences that ensure no child feels isolated. From picnics in the park to educational workshops and fun days out, our community events are geared towards building lasting friendships and offering enjoyable and meaningful activities for everyone involved.

    DADS & DONUTS

    When: First Saturday of every month, 9AM - 10AM

    Where: Expressions of Hope Offices

    Details: Join us for a relaxed morning of conversation and connection. This gathering is a fantastic opportunity for foster dads to meet, share experiences, and enjoy some delicious donuts. Whether you’re a new foster parent or have years of experience, we welcome you to come and share your journey.

    MOMENTS WITH MOM

    When: Second Saturday of every month, 9AM - 10AM

    Where: Expressions of Hope Offices

    Details: Moms play a crucial role in nurturing and supporting their foster children. Come and spend a morning with other foster moms, share your stories, and support each other in a welcoming, comfortable setting. It’s a time for you to relax, recharge, and connect.

    SPANISH SPEAKING SUPPORT GROUP

    When: Second Saturday of every month, 10:30AM - 11:30AM

    Where: Expressions of Hope Offices

    Details: This group meets to provide support and resources to Spanish-speaking foster parents within the community. It’s a wonderful chance to discuss challenges, exchange advice, and form friendships with others who share similar experiences.
