Shannon Kleiber
Resource Center Associate
As the Resource Assistant at Expressions of Hope (EOH), Shannon Sue Kleiber has many responsibilities that allow her dedication to shine through in every aspect of her work.
She helps gather requested resource items for clients, sorting and organizing donations, and assisting the team with tasks like building furniture, cleaning, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
Shannon finds immense joy in supporting foster and adoptive families, knowing that her contributions help ease their burdens and improve their quality of life. She particularly values working with the compassionate team at EOH, where she feels the impact of their collective efforts on the community.
With a double major in Psychology and Horticulture, Shannon brings both academic and personal experience to her role, having previously cared for the elderly through In Home Supportive Services and co-managed a community garden. This diverse background gives her a unique ability to relate to and serve the families at EOH.
Grounded in her faith, Shannon is driven by the words of Matthew 25:34-36, which reads, “Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to Me.'“ These words inspire her daily commitment to making a difference.
